WORK HOURS
This full-time position typically follows a Monday-Friday schedule. However, occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required to support staff absences, events, seasonal promotions, or peak business times. Flexibility is essential to meet the operational needs of Swizzle Market, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and vendors. JOB SUMMARY
Swizzle Market is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations & Merchandising Coordinator to support store operations, assist with inventory management, and execute visually appealing in-store merchandising. This role works closely with the leadership team to streamline daily operations, develop new programs, and enhance the customer experience. As part of the team, this individual will cross-train for customer service roles, including barista and bartender duties, replenishing products, and assisting with cleaning tasks. Every team member at Swizzle Market plays a vital role in creating a positive customer experience by ‘working the floor.’
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Support
- Assist managers with inventory management, vendor coordination, and daily operations.
- Monitor stock levels, ensure timely reordering, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Provide logistical support for events, including acquiring supplies, setup, staffing, and engaging with customers.
- Step in as a barista or bartender as needed, delivering excellent customer service and showcasing Swizzle’s offerings.
Merchandising
- Design and implement in-store displays to highlight seasonal items, promotions, and vendor products.
- Regularly refresh product arrangements to maintain a visually appealing shopping environment.
- Work collaboratively with managers to ensure their vendor products are showcased effectively and align with Swizzle Market’s aesthetic.
Program, Event, and Partnership Coordination
- Partner with managers to develop and implement initiatives like loyalty programs, workshops, and partnerships.
- Assist in planning and executing Swizzle-hosted events and programs, including marketing, logistics, and customer interaction.
Technology and Systems
- Utilize Shopify reporting systems to create an accurate picture of product sales and support forecasting efforts.
- Maintain accurate inventory data, ensuring online availability matches in-store stock.
Customer Engagement
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers, addressing questions, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience.
- Gather feedback to inform improvements in products, displays, and programs.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required
- Previous experience in retail operations, inventory management, or merchandising.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with customers, vendors, and team members.
- A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for learning about alcohol-free beverages and their growing market.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and seamlessly adapt to multiple roles, including customer-facing tasks.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Shopify, POS systems, or similar retail technology platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools for creating promotional and merchandising content.
- Experience with sales analysis and forecasting tools to support data-driven decisions.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for design and visual merchandising.
